Halloween definitely has a special place in my memories. I remember as a kid dressing up as Dracula, a Pirate, Ninja Turtles, a Clown, a Magician…those were the good old days when I was able to go trick or treating alone with my buddies around the neighborhood. No special candy bags/buckets…just use your pillow case that you would later sleep on.
It’s pretty funny how Halloween evolves for people. As a kid, all you really wanted was to dress as some super hero and collect the most candy. As a teenager/young adult, you start thinking about parties and how “cool” your costume can be. And as a parent, your obvious priority is your kid and their wants for Halloween, but then also how you can somewhat relive the memories of being a kid. That is why, for the first time in my life, I dressed up in a Star Wars costume! I’ve always wanted to dress up as a Star Wars character growing up, but for some reason I never did. Now with Huddy, it was a great excuse to fulfill my childhood dreams. This year’s Halloween was also special because I actually got to participate at my work’s events. I’ve worked for Qualcomm and now at ViaSat…both companies threw some pretty elaborate activities for the kids, but since I didn’t have a kid…I usually would just stay in my desk. So Huddy, thank you, your dad finally got to go and mingle with co-workers and partake in free food and swag.

All my childhood pictures from Halloween are somewhere in storage…so below…are some pictures that go back to High School to now. We’ll start off with my favorite one…Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy:
