Why I Ride:
The last time I participated in this event was back in 2014. At the time, my brother-in-law and my uncle were in their deep battle against this terrible disease. I am sad to say, that my Uncle (Eric Cadiang) is no longer with us, but he is survived by his beautiful wife (Tita Janet) and his two kids (Eric and Celina Jean). For him and his family, I wanted to do something in his memory to help find a cure for cancer.
As for my brother-in-law, he was fortunate to survive and is using the power of music in the fight against cancer. He released a new track called “The Fight”. The song is an anthem of survivorship that was inspired by his personal experience facing testicular cancer. The things he does and the effort he puts into battling this disease is what keeps me motivated and aspire to always be a better person and help everyone in need. There is so much we can do to be of service in any capacity, whether it be through music or through cycling. To all those that are going through the fight, I will always be here in service in the fight!
It will be an unforgettable experience. I look forward to joining thousands of riders who have one shared goal: A world without cancer.
Please help me in this journey to find a cure by donating to my ride. I have committed to raise $1,000 for cancer research.
