6 months in and i’m loving fatherhood
Wow…it honestly feels like it was just last month that Hudson was born. I can’t believe it’s been 6 months. From winter to summer I’ve enjoyed being Huddy’s dad, his best friend, and someone to count on when mommy is out =)
There has definitely been some challenges and things that I needed to get accustomed to…such as: lack of sleep, limited time with friends & family, staying organized, cleaning, cooking, etc…etc. I just keep telling myself that Hudson is always watching and copying me and that keeps me running at tip top shape. I try my best to never show him that I’m tired, sleepy, hungry, or frustrated. I wear a smile every time I’m with him and he always smiles back. It’s one of the best things that can’t be explained by words…but when he smiles back at me…I literally just melt.
Here’s a little photo shoot we did modeling a cycling kit that one of my buddies designed. This is the Wildlife Collection.

Also, this past weekend, I went running with Hudson for the first time in our BOB stroller. He loved it! He knocked out in the first 5 minutes. He really does love the outdoors and feeling the wind on his face. Happy to say that I was able to still maintain a solid 7:30 avg mile pace. Planning on doing a few races with the stroller with him this summer/fall.

Lastly, in celebrating my work’s (ViaSat) successful launch of their second satellite…I designed this years Race Across America kit by going with a space theme. ViaSat’s 8 person team are set out to race on June 17th and will be rocking this sweet cycling kit!
