“Jeff, from adolescent kids to responsible adults, we’ve been friends, from great accomplishments to near disasters, we have seen a lot together, as much or even more than most, we’ve experienced adventure on a scale that most will never realize, this is a large part of what makes us who we are. And has shaped our lives in numerous ways, you have shared with me what it is like to live. It is important to have someone in life, who both shows you the way and also someone’s example by which you can follow yourself. This time, you, are heading into an adventure. And what a new and exciting and life changing one it will be. I want you to make the most of every moment. Look around and realize the beauty that you have surrounded yourself with…and you will always be happy. I wish you the best, and may this adventure take you to places and give you feelings that you never even imagined.” – Ton (from Best Man speech)
A lot has happened since the last time I posted. Most notably, Jeff and Allie got married! What a beautiful wedding! I’m now all about destination weddings. It definitely felt like a mini vacation with family and friends. I still can’t believe that my BFF is finally hitched. Now him and I can drag that ball and chain around wherever we go haha. No but seriously, I’m super happy for him and Allie. I have to admit, I was pretty stiff the entire time until I finally got to say my speech Saturday evening. I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for them. I think I set my personal record for peeing that day. I have yet to recap the wedding with the Domingos, but from what I thought…everything turned out amazing. Everyone socialized, ate, drank, and of course danced all through the night. It’s the best feeling when you have all your closest friends around while making new ones. I think I got to chat with almost everyone that attended. I might’ve committed my family to making a trip to Michigan now (haha hope Jeff and Allie don’t mind if we tag a long on one of their trips back east). So much fun stories that evening…like Jack’s ripped pants, unknown guest (I mean i know, but I won’t mention names here) throwing up in Mike’s car, and of course me totally blanking on a part of my speech…but o well…it was a fun weekend! I wish you the best Jeff and Allie.

Other things to note…
As mentioned in the beginning, so many things have happened since my last blog post. One of the weekends, the ladies went to Glen Ivy, and the gents had babysitting duties. So what did we do…Jeff, Dave, and I took Huddy to Stone Brewery. We stayed there for about 3 hours chit chatting and having a few brewskis. We got back…and Ninong Jeff wanted to change his first diaper.

Also, right before the wedding, my niece Sydney Rae graduated from high school. I can’t believe she’s now a college student. Now I know how my sisters and all my older aunts and uncles felt when I graduated high school…like man…I’m getting old. So weird that the niece you used to watch Nick Jr. and Disney with is now adulting in life.

Last but not least…Cathy turned 31! It was a busy day as it was our first day back home from Palm Springs, but we got to do Cathy’s favorites in a short amount of time. We hung out with the family and had dim sum to celebrate Mason’s graduation from pre-school and Cathy’s bday. Then we had dinner with some of Cathy’s friends at one of our favorite Thai restaurants Koon Thai! This is where we actually had our rehearsal dinner back in 2011.

And with that I leave you with some oldies but goodies from when Jeff was still a bachelor…
