Finally! I bought my dream car…yes..I said it…MY DREAM CAR. I’ve always wanted a van ever since I got my license when I was 16 years old. My mom didn’t think it was practical at the time, especially with me leaving for college…in all fairness…she was right. I ended up with a VW Golf as my first car. It was lovely. It’s actually still in our family as I decided to give it to my cousin CJ out in Charlotte NC. Next, I owned a BMW for a bit. Hated that car. Then when I got married and sorta started talking about kids I thought I’d finally be able to get my van, but Cathy hated the idea and we met half way and got a SUV.

This was an awesome car hauling our moving boxes, especially when Cathy and I moved living locations about 4-5 times in one year. It was sad to leave it at the dealership, but room in the garage was needed for the SWAGGER WAGON.

Our first official “long” trip was up to Pasadena to visit the Gomez’s for Mother’s day. There was stop and go traffic both heading up and back down, but I enjoyed every minute of it as I was still figuring out all the bells and whistles of the new ride.

I can’t wait for our future family road trips! We already have Palm Springs and Yosemite coming up in the next few months.
In other news…
We visited Jon, Leah, and LJ Trapse. Really good catching up with them. Jon made some bomb ass BBQ and Leah made a salad that I actually really enjoyed.

Also, Cathy hosted Allie’s bridal shower at our house. Cathy’s honestly a supermom. Don’t know how she does it. She of course had help from a lot of her friends for the event, but she did a wonderful job as being the host.

Sorry, but I have to cut this short as I have an important speech to work on!
