I took a few weeks hiatus mainly cause I’ve been so busy. One event after another. Hope you guys checked out my VLOG2 from Jeff’s Bachelor party, I skipped the normal blog post to make time to edit that thing.
All is good though, really not much to complain about. Work is finally starting to slow down. I’ve still been able to get out on the road and keep my fitness on track. Super stoked to get the new “All Naturals” kit or the Fruity kit. Goals for the spring/summer is to run a marathon/half with Huddy and possibly do a few sprint triathlons to mix it up. Not sure if I’ll road race this year, but we’ll see.
April ended with a few birthday celebrations…Marie and Paula’s big THREE O.
Marie had all us over for dinner…and it was my favorite type of eating. Kamayan style (eating with your hands). I went to town and was super stuffed.
Paula had a super fun event at Kettner Exchange in Little Italy. It was our first time both Cathy and I went out at the same time. My in-laws watched Huddy and he was a good little boy for them. The night was fun, but sad we had to call it a night fairly early to pick up Huddy.
During our downtime, we took advantage of the warm weather and went out for a swim.
Last Friday was Cathy’s first day back at work (in her normal shift time 3PM-11PM). It would be my first time doing the night routine with Huddy all by myself. I was nervous, but little man actually made it pretty easy for me. I was able to get him down by 7PM and had a good 4 hours to myself to catch up on all my shows that Cathy hates.
Cathy’s first day of work was busy…so busy…she caught a little cold. So my day watching Huddy alone continued into the next morning. I did my first bath with him, I made breakfast for the fam, and cleaned up around the house. I felt like SuperDad! Cathy thanked me a lot, but the funny thing is…she does this almost every day! She’s the Super Mom!
