Team Too Late

Man…I fell behind on last weeks post, but I do have a good excuse…I got sick.

The week had some crazy ups and down. On the work front, my group had an employee give his resignation letter. It was a bit of a surprise, but not really…the stressful part about it…is that I’m the short term solution for his absence. Let’s just say…good luck to me the next couple of months.

But even with the sad/stressful news, work still had some fun moments last week. We had our annual offsite meeting. This is our opportunity to talk about issues and things we like about our work as well as plan ahead for the upcoming year. Once all the important business stuff is addressed we usually have a fun activity for the second half of the day. This year, we went to Dave and Busters!

I’ve never seen this as a 4 person game

I have no pictures of it, but I also did accumulate almost 2 thousand worth of tickets. I hit a jackpot on a game and won 1,000 tickets! But yes, like I said, work had its mixed emotions last week…all I can say is that I am glad I work for this group and have great colleagues to help support.

In addition, I decided to keep the Nintendo Switch. I had a brief 30 minutes to play Bomberman once I got everything all charged up.

Sticking to the entertainment side of things, I got to finally watch Star Wars: Rogue One. I loved the movie! What was even more cool about it, is that Huddy actually watched most of it with me!

Some other insights on Huddy’s week…he hates tummy time and he’s slowly but surely getting used to sleeping in his own room.

He knows how to roll over now too!

Well so he doesn’t fall asleep so quickly in his new room

Lastly, we had a nice brunch and run to end the week.

Season 4 WILDLIFE Collection

I love cycling and I love fashion (art & design). I was so thrilled when I found about a company Team Too Late. The brain behind Team Too Late, is Jaybe. He is an an avid rider and creative with a background in fine arts, he sought out to marry the two things that helped define him the most: his passion for all things in cycling, and his love for art and design. Team Too Late aims to create thoughtfully-designed apparel that inspires every cyclist on the road to ride in style.

His latest collection is titled WILDLIFE:

Inspiration drawn from Wildlife scenery in Southern California, I asked Mimi Kim, the founder/creative director of LA based stationary brand Clap Clap Design, to come up with a pattern for Season 4 collection. As a cyclist living in Southern California – I feel strongly attached to the wildlife, deserts and nature. It was a natural for me to draw an inspiration from my surroundings.

He only released 15 of these and I was fortunate to swoop one up. I have some plans for my next cycling photoshoot with this one…i can’t wait!
