It’s that time of year
When the world falls in love
Every song you hear seems to say
Merry Christmas
May your new year’s dreams come trueAnd this song of mine
In three quarter time
Wishes you and yours
The same thing, too – Frank Sinatra
Eve. 12-24-26
This Christmas was extra special, we received one of the greatest gifts that we could’ve asked for…Baby Hudson. Only being about a week in a half years old we got to host a proper Christmas party with the Dizon family at our house (didn’t want to risk traveling with Hudster yet). I say “proper” Christmas party because we’ve only been in our house exactly one year from last December. This time, we have all our furniture, shutters installed, backyard done, and Christmas lights/decorations.
To add more to it being already an extra special Christmas, both my Grandma (Mama Ollie) and the Cadiangs (Tita Janet and CJ) were in town. It is super rare to have the whole gang together. The Bayacas, the Cadiangs, The Dizons, The Encarnacions, The Goingcos (Mar only cause Ayden got sick), The Gomezs, The Gornichecs, and the Obteras (Papa OJ was here in spirit).
It was the typical Christmas/Family reunion…laughter, stress, love, eating, napping, shouting, hugging, singing, joking, playing…and something new for me…parenting.

Day. 12-25-16
The festivities continued the following day (Christmas Day), and as tradition, the Chittaphongs hosted one of the best Christmas mornings/breakfast in their beautiful new home. They are so sweet to rush to get furniture in their house on Christmas Eve so that the family can be comfortable. Lam gave me my first grand tour of their home…and this thing is a beauty, but yes I digress, back to Christmas…the in-laws prepared egg scramble, sausage, tortillas, cinnamon rolls, bagels and salmon, doughnuts, coffee, champagne, and hot coco =)
Following breakfast, it was time for the kids to open gifts. The Lam family continued Christmas Day celebration at our Uncle’s house, but since Hudson is still new to the world, Cathy and I decided to head back and watch Christmas movies.

Thats a wrap for Christmas 2016…what a doozy (inside joke, Cathy used the word doozy to describe our first sleepless night with Hudson)
